Give Brand Name Gear Like Marconi A Second Life With Refurbishing

Are you getting ready to replace or upgrade your old telecommunications equipment? Do the world a favor; don’t just throw it all out: recycle it! Brand name equipment from manufacturers like Marconi or Juniper Networks can still be useful long after it has stopped working or fallen far behind in the ever evolving technological world. Simply discarding the equipment is both expensive to you–remember, you have to pay to have all of that rubbish removed!–and seriously harmful to the environment as well. It can be far easier, and most certainly better for the planet, to have it all recycled instead.

Plus it is also pretty common to make a little bit of money for your recycled goods. Your company is unlikely to earn enough money from selling their discarded goods to turn a profit or replace it outright, but selling Marconi radios or another brand to a refurbisher will help offset some of the cost of buying your new equipment. The refurbishing company can use your old items for a variety of purposes, particularly scrapping them to salvage whatever useful parts possible, and melting them down to recycle the raw materials or plastics used in their construction. Additionally most telecommunications equipment tends to contain rare metals such as copper or platinum that can be recycled to be used in producing even more electronic and telecom equipment to resell on the market. It is also possible to fix much (if not most) of the equipment to be sold directly out of the refurbishing company’s’ website.

As it stands we already waste millions of pounds of plastics and metals from telecommunications products alone, why add to the mess when we can make some money and help put lower cost products on the marketplace instead. It is great for the environment, and good for your bank account, too. You can’t lose!
